Strike an arc by touching the electrode to the Corten steel surface and quickly retracting it to create the arc. Move the electrode along the joint, maintaining a consistent arc length and travel speed. Deposit the weld metal by melting the electrode and allowing it to flow into the joint, creating a strong and continuous weld bead.

After completing the welding process, visually inspect the welds for any discontinuities, such as cracks or incomplete fusion. Use non-destructive testing methods, such as dye penetrant or radiographic testing, if necessary, to ensure the integrity of the welds.

Set up the spray equipment according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure that you are working in a well-ventilated area and use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves, a mask, and goggles, to protect yourself from fumes and overspray.
